August learnings

This is what I learned last month. Among other things...

1. If you wear a high ponytail in your hair while wearing a scooter helmet, you will get a headache from the pony tail holder thing poking you in the head.

2. When ordering food in a language in which you are not fluent, there is a high probability that you will receive something different from what you ordered. #happenedtwice

Glorious, plasticy wonderfulness.

3. It is dirt hard to wait on God.

4. Jellies are back. And they rock! (I was forced to get a pair downtown the other day when my shoe broke. Best. rupees. I've. Ever. Spent.)

5. Viewing Niel Armstrong walk on the moon would have been impossible if it weren't for The Dish. Also? Australians don't like root beer (generally speaking, of course).

6. Olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and honey. I never knew. My salads will never be the same.

7. Sundesh can spell elepantboy, bicycle, and chicken killer all by himself in English
Watermelon is still a challenge.

8. I have a sanguine temperament. This explains why I procrastinate, why I like smells, and why I have bright green curtains.
